The Usage Guidelines section explains how transactions are counted on the EZDZSEND platform. This helps sellers understand how different actions affect their included allowance and when usage credits are needed for extra transactions.
How Transactions Are Counted #
One transaction is counted for each order delivered through EZDZSend, whether the order comes automatically from a connected store or is added manually.
The following rules apply:
- Order Delivery – Each delivered order counts as one transaction.
- Pending or Held Orders – An order does not count while it remains pending or on hold. It is counted when it is processed for delivery.
- Resend – Resending a digital purchase counts as one additional transaction.
- Replacement – Issuing a replacement counts as one additional transaction.
- Refund – Issuing a partial or full refund does not count as an additional transaction.
Resends and replacements are counted separately from the original order.
For example, if a seller delivers an order, resends the purchase, and later issues a replacement, the total usage is three transactions. Issuing a refund does not add another transaction.
Included Transaction Allowance #
Each subscription plan includes a transaction allowance for the current billing period.
Orders, resends, and replacements use this allowance first. Sellers can check their used and remaining transactions on the Billing page.
Unused included transactions do not carry over. The allowance resets when a new billing period starts.
Extra Transactions and Usage Credits #
Once the included allowance is used, sellers on eligible plans can continue delivering through prepaid usage credits.
Usage credits must be enabled, and the seller’s balance must be sufficient to cover the next extra transaction. Each extra transaction deducts an amount from the balance at the selected plan’s rate.
Transactions within the included allowance do not reduce the usage credit balance. Purchased usage credits do not expire.
If usage credits are disabled or the balance is too low, further deliveries are held. The seller can add credits, upgrade the plan, or wait for the included allowance to renew.
Plans that do not support extra transactions require an upgrade or a new billing period before additional deliveries can continue.
Automatic Credit Top-Ups #
Sellers can enable auto-reload from the Usage Credits section on the Billing page.
When the balance reaches the seller’s selected threshold, EZDZSend attempts to charge the saved payment method and add the chosen top-up amount.
If payment fails and the remaining balance cannot cover another extra transaction, delivery is held until sufficient balance is available.
